Lakewood Ranch, FL is set for its third annual “Ovation” event, a day devoted to the arts on Main Street in the Lakewood Ranch community. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, there will be live performances by the Sarasota Opera, Manatee Players and Fuzión Dance Artists. Frenchman’s Creek, FL welcomed some 200 women for its annual Frenchman's Creek Women For Cancer Research (WFCR) fundraising luncheon. This event celebrated the organization's ongoing partnership with Scripps Research Institute/Scripps Florida. Before the luncheon the ladies competed in a golf tournament.
