> The Landings on Skidaway Island, GA recently held its 16th annual Landings Kid’s Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Coastal Conservation Association, on the banks of its Kid’s Fishing Lagoon. Some 114 participants and their family members lined the lagoon for the competition, at the end of which judges tallied 103 fish, mostly large bluegills, a few bass and five turtles, caught by kids age three to 15. > Admiral’s Cove, Jupiter FL reports that, for the first time since May of 2010, luxury waterfront and golf condos at Admiral's Cove are selling at an accelerating rate, in step with a general trend for existing homes and condos in South Florida. In the state, existing home sales increased 3 percent last month with a total of 17,228 homes sold compared to 16,790 homes sold in May 2010, according to Florida Realtors. Statewide sales of existing condos last month rose 17 percent compared to the year-ago sales figure.
