The other island = Nantucket. Now is the time to start thinking about summer rentals on the Cape's nearby islands, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
On Nantucket, go see a friend of ours for rentals, Ken Lopian who recently earned his MA real estate licensee and joined J. Pepper Frazier Co. He recently told us the big news on Nantucket is the major acquisition of open space by the Nantucket Conservation Foundation.
The parcel creates more wild places for visitors to be active with friends or share multi-generational explorations of the natural surroundings. (Ken, send us some photos to post!) See the news below.
The Foundation Begins its 50th Year by Protecting a Major Parcel of Open Space - NORWOOD FARM: 207 acres in Polpis
The Nantucket Conservation Foundation unexpectedly but fortuitously marked the beginning of its 50th year with a $19 million commitment to purchase 207 acres in Polpis from the Jensen Family controlled Norwood Farm Trust.
The Nantucket Land Bank Commission will join the Foundation as a partner in this important transaction. This sprawling and iconic property, bordered to the west, south, and east by extensive conservation holdings, represented the largest, unprotected, privately owned parcel on Nantucket.
