Despite what you read in the headlines, the golf course community and waterview community market is moving ahead and adapting to market conditions. 

The leaders in any market usually act the same way—they remain visible and active. Companies such as Lennar Homes, which announced this week a special promotion of just $21 down for a new home, are among those who believe that positive action promotes positive results. Last fall Pulte made news with its Monster Sale during Halloween. 

A Buyer’s Market
These promotions continue to demonstrate that the buyers’ market is in full force and, for those who can make it happen, this is an excellent time to be a buyer. The steady steam of requests for information that we receive each day, in addition to anecdotal evidence of home sales, says that a lot of people are still in the market for a second home, vacation home or retirement property. And they are buying. 

GolfCourseHome and WaterViewHome will be visible, too. Perhaps you have seen our full-pages ads in magazines such as Unique Homes, Elite Homes or DuPont Registry. The point to remember is that markets are cyclical and this market will come back, too. The timing is what remains a mystery. Perhaps you know someone who bought a home in the early ‘90s or in the late ‘90s. Georgia Club’s Junior Jamboree Matches Young Enthusiasts with Mentors

Forest Dunes Holds Art & Wine Event, Briar's Creek in the Top 100, & More

Jupiter Country Club, FL will host competition October 13.

Jupiter Country Club, FL has announced that its Greg Norman Signature golf course would serve as home course for sixth through 12th graders on the boys varsity golf team at Jupiter Christian School. And since Jupiter Christian is current host school for the boys varsity golf district tournament, the new 18-hole course will also be the host site for the competition, which is slated for October 13. Harbour Ridge Yacht Club, FL has been chosen as host community for the 2009 General Meeting of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, to take place next May.
