Dataw Island, SC announced that it had begun a major renovation of the second green on its Tom Fazio-designed Cotton Dike course. The project will reposition the green to provide better sunlight, build it to USGA specifications to improve drainage and playability. The green will also increase in size and the number of usable pin locations. An $80,000 project, this renovation will take three weeks to begin grow-in and 75 days for new grass to be grown.
