Forest Dunes Event "Art de Vin" Will Feature Music, Food, Wine & More

Forest Dunes, MI will host Art de Vin in August.

In August, Forest Dunes in Roscommon, Michigan will host "Art de Vin–A Celebration of Michigan Art, Wines, Hops and Harvest." Enchante Art Gallery will co-host.

The August 9th patio event will feature Michigan-based artists, breweries, vineyards, distillers, coffee roasters and non-alcoholic beverage producers. More than a dozen Michigan artists will showcase their work, some of which is wine-themed.

Music from the Bill Baird Bagpipe Ensemble and Michigan-themed appetizers will round out the event. Tickets are $10, and proceeds benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates, for children) and The River House Women’s Shelter. Click here for more information about Forest Dunes!

Forest Dunes Holds Art & Wine Event, Briar's Creek in the Top 100, & More

Jupiter Country Club, FL will host competition October 13.

Jupiter Country Club, FL has announced that its Greg Norman Signature golf course would serve as home course for sixth through 12th graders on the boys varsity golf team at Jupiter Christian School. And since Jupiter Christian is current host school for the boys varsity golf district tournament, the new 18-hole course will also be the host site for the competition, which is slated for October 13. Harbour Ridge Yacht Club, FL has been chosen as host community for the 2009 General Meeting of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, to take place next May. Over 200 members of the FCYC are expected to attend this three-day event, which allows Harbour Ridge members to showcase their our outstanding facilities— including two championship golf courses, 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, marina facilities

Golfweek's Best, the magazine’s signature award package, will be published this fall and will include Briar’s Creek in its Top 100 overall category, a highly prestigious honor for the six-year-old layout. Quail Ridge, FL reports that its new, state-of-the-art Business Center is completed. Oliver was named assistant golf professional at MVC after eight years at Broadmoor Golf Links in Fletcher.
