River Dunes Marina: One of just 19 "Clean Marinas" in NC.
River Dunes, Oriental, NC, has recently been designated a Clean Marina by the State of North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources. River Dunes becomes one of only 19 marinas in North Carolina to qualify for the title.
To earn the two-year certification, marina owners must prepare spill prevention plans and conduct regular safety and emergency planning.
The voluntary program allows certified marinas to fly the Clean Marina flag and use the logo in their advertising to signal to boaters their commitment to the cleanliness of area waterways. Send me more info about River Dunes.
