The Stuart Yacht & County Club is one of the premier yachting and golf communities in south Florida, offering the welcoming taste of Old Florida complete with views of natural landscapes, golf or water. The club members own and manage the club, and ensure all members have a friendly, first-class experience.
An intimate club with all the amenities of a large resort, the Yacht & Country Club’s Dick Wilson-designed golf course was updated in 2006 by Ed Seay (Arnold Palmer Designs) and Tom Walker (Gary Player Designs) and continues it fine reputation as a course friendly to the beginner, yet challenging for the low-handicapper.
The club’s formal dining room and grill room have earned a reputation as one of the area’s finest restaurants. Located at the Sports Complex are six Har-Tru tennis courts, (two lighted) that are active with men’s, ladies’, mixed events, inter-club league activity, as well as private and group lessons. A complete Fitness Center overlooks the pool.
An active Yacht Club offers direct ocean access via Crooked Creek. YCC Yacht Club activities include interaction with other local yacht clubs for boatacades, beach picnics, cruises, and fishing tournaments.
No Sticky Wicket: Croquet is popular here on two courts, setting the club among the elite croquet associations on the Treasure Coast.
