Mustang, a 42' Swan club racer has been reduced from $510,000 to $450,000. Located in Westbrook, CT, 'Mustang' is the newest boat of the USA fleet. She is in great condition and currently stored indoors.
The boat is owned by a group of sailors that includes Gary Jobson. The famous America's Cup winner would be happy to help jump-start the next owner's racing program. The boat has lots of speed and finished 3rd in the NYYC Invitational Regatta. The Swan 42 Class is one of the most exciting offshore one-design sailboats being raced today. The competition is among the best there is with great class rules and a busy racing schedule.
While racing is at the forefront of the design, this is also a great family cruising boat that is stiff and easy to sail. The open cockpit offers plenty of room to entertain and to stretch out while enjoying the sunshine.
There is still plenty of great racing this summer and fall. These are very competitive boats with a sister ship having just finished second in her class in the 2012 Newport to Bermuda Race under both ORR and IRC rating rules.
