It's a beautiful summer day on Martha's Vineyard, and summer visitors and renters are contiuning to leave the island behind. But while the view is of the great fall exodus, vacationers are already signing up for their rental property for summer 2014.
We can see the ferry from our office in Vineyard Haven, so we walked down to the dock this morning to document this sad ritual of departure.
