Tournaments Near Golf Course Home Network Communities
BY WVH Editors
One of the perks of living at a to-flight golf course community is that they often host professional tournaments. The PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and minor tours all have events at or near Golf Course Home Network (GCHN) communities.
Residents often volunteer to work at the events, rubbing elbows with the world’s finest golfers and seeing them up close. Here are a few upcoming pro events that you don't want to miss!
If you live near River Highlands in Cromwell, CT, you just had the pleasure of watching the Travelers Championship take place at the Tournament Players Club (TPC) River Highlands this past week. The purse was set at $6,100,000, and the winner was Ken Duke, who won on a sun-death playoff.
The scenic Club at River Oaks is a gated, residential golf community with 66 lots on 350 secluded acres.
