The Reserve at Lake Keowee, SC, Releases 14 Waterview Homes in Its New Village Point Neighborhood

The Reserve at Lake Keowee has announced the release of 14 homes in its new Village Point neighborhood. Set along an area known as Marina Park, Village Point is just a stone’s throw from the community’s amenity filled waterfront Village.

Just as important, the release signals that The Reserve is “officially back in the development business,” says Chuck Pigg, community manager of the community and vice president of Greenwood Communities and Resorts (the community’s development partner).

Village Point features three home plans, ranging in size from approximately 2,650 to 3,750 square feet, each of which may be customized by adding terrace levels, garages, and upper levels. 

Pricing for homes in Village Point begin in the mid-$600,000s, and the homes qualify for entry into the community’s residential rental program.

The neighborhood is located within five minutes or less by foot or golf cart from 10 of The Reserve’s most popular amenities. Inside the grounds, Village Point is a haven on the water, featuring pedestrian pathways accented by statuary and manicured landscaping.

“The architecture of the Village Point at The Reserve at Lake Keowee will be, in essence, the quintessential summer lake cottage,” says Lew Oliver, architect of the project.

Kiawah Island, SC and KIRE, Continue to Prove that Waterfront Real Estate Is Coming Back

Kiawah Island, SC: Island and oceanfront living a specialty.

Kiawah Island, and its area-leading real estate sales company KIRE, continue to produce strong increases in sales in 2012. 

Year to date,  KIRE’s closed dollar volume has gained 23% over the same period in 2011 on 100 closed transactions. Of those sales, KIRE represented 81 of those buyers.

Best Month in Two Years
In May, Kiawah Island Real Estate closed $35 million in sales volume–its best single month in two years.

Homesites have shown particular strength. In 2011, 25 homesites were sold on Kiawah Island. Through May this year there have already been 28 homesite closings. KIRE procured the buyer for 25 of these. All but three were resale lots.

Daniels Island, SC Home Sales Up 13% in 2011 as Housing Rebound Gains

Daniel Island Real Estate continues to report an excellent year in sales. Since September first, sales associates at Daniel Island Real Estate have written contracts on 22 island properties, representing a total of $17.2 million in volume.

From condominiums priced in the $100,000s to a $3.375 million waterfront home in the golf neighborhood of Daniel Island Park (a market record for the year), this recent activity represents a wide range of properties.

Single-family home sales on Daniel Island are up 13% for the year compared to 2010, and island condominium sales--despite remaining flat nationwide–are up 22%. Request more information.

The inventory of available resale properties on Daniel Island is down substantially compared to last year. With 33% fewer resale homes and 47% fewer resale condominiums available compared to last year at this time.

In addition, construction activity is beginning to increase. Several new homes in the golf neighborhood of Daniel Island Park are nearing completion (one is already under contract), and construction will soon begin on additional golf homes, cottages and townhomes.
