Savannah Quarters is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this month and it has a lot to celebrate.
First, this growing Georgia golf community will hold the grand opening of its newest neighborhood, The Reserve at Westbrook at Savannah Quarters, on the weekend of September 24 and 25. Set in a canopy of hardwood oak trees and offering lagoon views, the neighborhood opening includes the release of 11 premium homesites. "Even during the challenging conditions of the last few years, we have continued to experience growth with an increasing number of members and the sale of real estate,” noted David Cecchele, COO of Medallist USA, who has presided over the project since May 2008.
Over the past eight months, membership at the Savannah Quarters Country Club has grown by more than 15 percent and more than 120 real estate contracts have been exchanged, with 66 having closed to date, added Cecchele. And in contrast to general real estate trends, Savannah Quarters continually has a variety of new home under construction.
SQ Anniversary Celebrations
Country Club members will celebrate its 10-year milestone on September 24 with the 10th Anniversary Golf Tournament. The winner of a hole-in-one competition will drive away in a brand new Acura TSX offered by Southern Motors Acura of Savannah. In the evening members will dance Monte Carlo style at the 10th Anniversary Gala.
The celebrations are a reminder, says Cecchele, that Savannah Quarters is a vibrant place to live, work and play.
